Majestic Horse Floats has been established since 1938 and is New Zealand’s leading provider of transport to the equine industry. To ensure our national market leading presence our Waikato operation based in Cambridge has a development role as a Transport Assistant available. This role working closely with our transport managers will be judged on enhancing our relationships with our customer base, suppliers, drivers and our stable personnel.
Key responsibilities include: Bookings, data entry, dispatch, accounts, staff rosters, monitoring driver compliance and fleet maintenance/compliance.
This is an entry-level opportunity for a bright, enthusiastic person to learn all facets of the horse transport industry. As a development role, we believe it would be ideal for a recent graduate or school leaver.
You must have a flexible can do attitude with a strong customer service focus. We operate 7 days per week and no two days are the same. This position is rostered on one weekend in three.
